Clinical Research Scientist

The Clinical Research Scientist is responsible for providing scientific support for all Clinical Development activities including assembling, evaluating, and presenting scientific and medical data, writing, and monitoring the competitive landscape and reviewing and summarizing relevant information

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical research physicians in developing clinical development plans and contribute to the development of data collection tools, statistical analysis plans, case report forms


• Works with cross functional teams (regulatory, business units, etc.) to evaluate new clinical projects and study strategy


• Develops clinical study designs and facilitates the transition of projects to clinical operations team


• Develop/edit a broad range of technical documents related to biopharmaceutical raw materials, including memos, assessments, specifications, and reports based upon compilation and analysis of supplier-provided and internal data.

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or Engineering and 2 years of direct, relevant biotech/pharma industry clinical research experience


• PhD in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or Engineering is preferred


• Superior written and verbal communications skills


• Excellent command of the English language and grammatical application thereof


• Keen attention to detail


• Highly organized


• Proficient with MS Word, including TOC, creating/using styles, footnotes, and cross references


• Competent with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


• Familiar with SharePoint and electronic document management systems


• Able to multi-task and quickly adjust to changing priorities without sacrificing quality or timely completion of tasks
