Business Systems Analyst
The Business System Analyst/Salesforce Analyst will work closely with our business team to help guide the business in improving business processes and efficiencies in Salesforce; partner with business leads on executing enhancement roadmap (work with the business owner to understand functional requirements for proposed enhancements, provide guidance on roadmap sprints and sequencing, provide estimates on development effort required on each enhancement); define, document and analyze requirements from the business leads.
Provide insights and best practices on how to unlock value in the system.
- Use Salesforce automation to streamline internal processes; proactively provide recommendations on Salesforce features that we are not currently using; share knowledge on delivered features (dashboards, modules, components) that would benefit our users; identify system issues and risks, and present alternatives for alleviating or resolving them
- Design, build, and deliver Salesforce enhancements;
- Manage sprints in enhancement release schedule (Create release schedule, create calendar of events, meetings, deployment schedule to complete each release;
- Enter user stories, features, sprints in DevOps tool (Copado);
- Perform technical analysis and complete functional/technical specification sections of user stories;
- Complete development and configuration associated with user stories included in each release;
- Prepare and execute detailed unit test plans for all implemented user stories; implement comprehensive automated unit tests for all Apex code;
- Provide detailed deployment sequence and instructions for each release;
- Ensure quality gates are passed during deployment;
- Conduct daily standup meetings and sprint review meetings as required during release development;
- Identify and implement data conversions required in conjunction with regular releases;
- Coordinate with and provide deployment and/or conversion instructions to the System Administrator and Release Manager as needed during deployment of regular releases through the DevOps pipeline;
- Provide hypercare support during and immediately after release deployment;
- Support continued build-out of key reports and dashboards, data administration, and integrity upkeep;
- Provide technical specifications and help maintain overall documentation for the business;
- Adhere to and promote best practices, and design the guidelines for security procedures
- Three or more years of experience with Salesforce, preferably Sales Cloud, Tableau; advanced experience with Salesforce configurations, process design, Agile methodology; strong presentation and communication skills
